It was something that Jon had often enough from Ygritte but none since then until Daenerys and there was something to be said about a woman who genuinely enjoyed the act. Ygritte had and his wife certainly did but he'd heard from his other brothers that whores, generally, did not, unless the gold was flowing.

And a lady wife? Never. Daenerys was apparently an exception there. He gently ran his hands through her hair, stroking and petting but never pulling.
