Jon pinned her down more firmly and covered her mouth with his in a fierce kiss. It had been a knee jerk reaction, a way to keep her from screaming, but once his mouth was on hers he didn't know if he could stop.
She was so, so beautiful. Still, a lord's daughter wasn't the type of woman he normally carried off. Too much danger in that and too much risk they'd be pursued. Better to get a crofter's daughter, a fisherman's wife - someone who wouldn't be chased after.
